Project Description:

Design and build primary church facility for Deliverance Outreach Temple.  Design and construction included all work associated with identifying customer needs, accessing most economic placement of building on site, including consideration for excavation, utilities, parking and drainage.  Project consisted of a pre-engineered structure concrete slab on grade with metal wall panel and masonry veneer. Interior classrooms, sanctuary, offices, kitchen, fellowship hall and restrooms, etc., were constructed of metal stud, gypsum board, painted walls, acoustical and gypsum board ceilings with ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile and carpet flooring.  The building utilized a commercial range hood, packaged heat pump HVAC system, and was fully sprinkled to comply with local and state codes.  All zoning, planning and permits through the city of Clarksville were coordinated through our contract.

Because the site had been used as, a tavern establishment prior to our involvement, concealed unsuitable soils, trash and an existing cistern were discovered during excavation.  Unsuitable materials, at the direction of our soils engineer were undercut and replaced with suitable soils obtained on site from a borrow pit.

This was a typical design build task that we would anticipate being part of the IDIQ contract.  All design / engineering / and construction responsibility was contracted to Sherrick Construction for a successful execution of the project
