Sustainability / Green Building Practices
Creating and implementing customized, sustainable plans for a low-impact construction site, including material reuse, smart building techniques and recycling across the board. Quality Assurance
Providing field supervision driven to monitor and ensure the project specifications are achieved. Furthermore, we believe in our three-phase quality control management approach to ensure the highest quality end product. On many projects we call in the expertise of 3rd party quality control specialists to conduct inspections on the work we’ve done.
Scheduling
Creating and updating the entire CPM (critical path method) project schedule to show what goes where and when is vital. We take pride in the ability to manage complex schedules phased to track current progress, and project months in advance. Our adherence to the schedule is tracked not only by duration of events, but in conjunction with cost and quantities. We can track production of subcontractors work from a timeline, cost and quantity. Tracking these three ways allows us to see the progress from different aspects and helps show potential areas of concern earlier on the project where there is still time to correct the event and not impact the overall project schedule.
Safety
At Sherrick, safety is a condition of employment and our highest priority. We conduct weekly safety meetings and requiring complete program compliance for all subcontractors, consultants and visitors.
Project Communication
At Sherrick, we have invested heavily in our project management infrastructure. Our project management software is web based and accessible to all parties involved in the design and construction of the project including everyone from owners and designers to contractor and subcontractor management personnel. Our scheduling system integrates with our project management system and provides a technical realm of efficiency to all parties involved.
